In early 2010 G.M.C.C. purchased brand new Prima GT carpet. We now use this carpet every week and it is the same carpet as used by Rugracers, Carpet Wars and many more of the bigger venues. This helps to get your car set up on the same surface and grip levels as some of the best tracks in the country. 2011 will see G.M.C.C. purchase a new AMBrc lap timing system to replace the handout transponders currently in use.
G.M.C.C. now have a track banner which will be at all the major meetings over the winter and summer. If you want a chat with us look out for this banner and come over and say hello. We can answer any questions you have about the club.
As you can see there is a great view from the rostrum which is the hall stage and also doubles up as part of the pitting area.
This is part of the pitting area on the stage at G.M.C.C.
This was Reg's first ever race meeting at G.M.C.C. on 28-09-10. Reg's Dad Dave can been seen behind watching over him while he gets his car ready for his next race. I'm sure there will be many more to come in the future. R/C car racing is a great way for the family to spend some quality time together.
